cause the cards that I was dealt never really made sense to me

The only reason one would ever drop to rest on their knees
is by the fault of their mind, the answer lives in us all
But through the ages and advances we have lost control
and slowly lost ourselves but never lost our hope
Our hope to one day make it back up that hill, back to the world we control
Our hope to one day conquer what's inside, what's inside us all
Our hope to see failure as just another chance to become something more
So I only just want to barely want to survive
This pain is just another doorway to a better life
I can see the pain stretched across your face
and in the back of your mind you're fighting what's inside
That voice that says it's okay sit down and rest those bleeding lungs
But without struggle there can be no victory
Pick yourself off the ground get back to your feet
They stacked the odds so high that it blocked out the sun
They said a dead end was my path there was no way around
But here's the story of when my fate met my heart of gold
Knees nearly failed me, my lungs are filled with stones
My visions blurry but I'm still here standing tall
against the world against myself against the fear of the fall
but I will not be broken
And then a riot erupted underneath my chest
and through the pain I knew to hold out till the end
cause on the other side is a much greater man waiting
just to greet me.
Wouldn’t life be perfect, if we weren’t all so afraid.

Never Lose Sight Brisbane, Australia
Never Lose Sight are a Brisbane Positive Hardcore band.
They released their EP in 2010 and are
about to drop their new full length album 'Pride Fighter' 2012.
Their live shows are notorious for being energetic with crowds yelling lyrics to whole songs, piling on top of each other for mic grabs, and singing choruses with unmatched passion
They will be touring Australia in August 2012.
